Survey!
Survey! is a publication that examines personal design references through playful systems of comparison and interpretation. Drawing from books in my own design library, the project uses unconventional methods such as horoscopes, typographic close-ups, and focused analysis of a single letter to generate new readings of familiar material. The cover translates physical data into form by measuring each book’s perimeter and shaping corresponding strings into letterforms that spell the title. By combining measurement, material experimentation, and humor, the project treats research as an expressive design process rather than a purely analytical one.
