Dimensions: A Catalog of Covers by Surface Area
This catalog examines the surface area of book covers, highlighting trends and inconsistencies across a selection of 35 design titles from The Mugar Library, The Visual Arts & Resource Library, and my personal collection. By photographing and measuring the books in hand, the project organizes the titles by cover size to reveal variations, overlaps, and patterns, offering a focused study on how scale contributes to the perception and design of printed works.
