Hi, my name is Erica and I think everything is a prompt. Graphic design, for me, is just a long chain of small decisions, and most of the time the challenge isn’t finding ideas, it’s figuring out how to move through too many of them. I’m interested in how shifting our attention changes things...how ordinary materials, constraints, and moments can become starting points for making if you’re willing to see them that way.
A lot of my work comes from building simple rules or systems that help generate ideas instead of overthinking them. I like working with constraints, repetition, chance, and small shifts in instruction as ways to get somewhere unexpected. Across design and teaching, I’m drawn to experimentation, improvisation, and building frameworks that help people move through uncertainty without getting stuck.
Post something before it’s ready.
